The Dancin’ Stew is a five-member singing and dancing group that I’m a part of, celebrating iconic songs made famous by women across the decades. We formed the group after performing together in Beehive: The 60s Musical at our local community theatre.
Our vision was to create a brand that captured the bright, bold spirit of the 1960s while remaining modern, vibrant, and visually engaging.
The story behind this color palette is actually pretty funny. When our group was still in its "what if" phase, we attended a Galentine's Day party, and I looked at the tablecloth, which was Valentine's Day themed, and I immediately envisioned our group with these colors. They were fun, bright, and definitely fit the 60s brand we were going for.
In October of 2023, I had the amazing opportunity to perform in Beehive: The 60s Musical at my local community theatre with 5 other wonderfully talented women celebrating the influential women in music of the 60s.
A few months later, we decided to create our own music group called The Dancin' Stew. The best part about being involved in this group AND being a graphic designer is that I can create the brand identity and website for our group!
This project has a special place in my heart since I am one of the founding members. If you are ready to invest in your business, click the button below & let's chat!
